The hotel in the Spanish capital Barceló Torre de Madrid is located in a property built in 1957. Jaime Hayon, designer from Madrid, set a goal to display the richness and diversity of Spain. With the help of traditional architectural elements, carefully selected colors and unusual art objects Hayon has created a special aesthetic flavor, far from the traditional concepts of the southern country.
Most of the furniture and fixtures – from numerous collaborations with Jaime Hayon brands such as Fritz Hansen, & Tradition, Gubi, Arflex, Cassina and BD Barcelona. So, in the rooms there are located ‘Monkey’ table, chairs and ‘Catch Palette’ tables.
Figurines, masks and other art works were placed in all public areas. Decor complements a series of photographs of the Spanish duo made Klunderbie at the request of the designer.
