Suppliers
Our supplier choice purely depends on the project requirements, we have over a hundred in our database, however we try to keep our main supplier pool limited to twenty main suppliers in order to maintain a good level of products knowledge, their technical features and installation particularities. We might source a new supplier during the project, but we can not provide any guaranty without a previous relationship.
Every project uses a combination of products from different price ranges, which allows us to optimise and balance the investment in FF&E (Furniture, fixtures and equipment).
We are constantly monitoring new products as well as newcomers to the market by visiting all main UK exhibitions (Surface exhibition, Ideal home, Decorex, Design Week etc) as well as some important ones abroad (Maison and Objet and Milan Design Week). We also attend suppliers' presentations of new products and workshops. We usually keep our suppliers' pool based in UK.
At Krikla, we like to mix eras and use antique or vintage pieces in every project to give them another life. As such we are frequent visitors of some antique fairs across the country where we also hunt for treasures in second-hand contemporary furniture sections. We believe the authenticity of an interior is built on unique pieces.
